Banana oatmeal

Steel cut oats
Ripe banana
Oil of choice (flax, olive, grapeseed, etc.)

Cook a serving of steel cut oats according to package directions, adding cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. I recommend using half as much nutmeg as cinnamon. Once cooked, transfer the serving of oats to a serving bowl. Chop up a serving (3oz for me) of ripe banana and add it to the oats, then add 1 TB of the oil of your choice. Mix it all together while the oatmeal is still hot (or microwave to reheat), and enjoy.
